I'd like to attend, but I don't have the money. You are welcome to send your child to both camps if you'd like! Activities will be based on the theme for each week. This year STAR Camp has two themes: SOAR THRU THE WORLD (week of June 10) and SOAR THRU THE WATERS (week of July 22). Is each camp identical? Can I bring my child to multiple camps? Please do not allow your child to bring toys or show-and-tell items because time is limited and these things can be distracting to other campers. Only a resealable bottle of water with your child's name clearly marked on it. ![]() What does my child need to bring each day? We will share what we believe to be the truth about God from the Bible, but we will not pressure children to make specific faith decisions. No! When it comes to children, we believe major li fe decisions about faith and belief in God are more appropriately left to parents/guardians and the spiritual leaders that they select. ![]() Yes! We invite children of all faith, ethnic, educational, and family backgrounds to attend.Īre you going to pressure my child into making a major religious decision? We also have a large group session in which campers will be served a healthy snack and listen to a short biblical lesson about God's creation. Be sure to include Campers' name and session date on the envelope. In order for your camper to receive mail while at camp, send it a few days before your session begins. If a camper leaves camp for any reason, it is the responsibility of the parents to provide transportation home.Ī. Campers who become homesick and leave their camp session early are not eligible for refunds. Yes – Campers are allowed to use the Camp Victory Office phone to call home. What do you do for homesick campers? Do you let them call home?Ī. Should campers need to contact parents, calls can be made through the camp office. Out of consideration for other campers and planned activities, incoming calls are not allowed except in case of emergency. In case of an emergency, you will be notified immediately. We are fully aware of our great responsibility in the care of your child. Continued disobedience may result in dismissal from camp.Ī. Yes – A counselor accompanies campers at children’s camp 24 hours a day.Ī. Along with the Victory Kids team and volunteers, the camp is staffed with a resident director, food service personnel, trained counselors, and an onsite nurse.Ī. Two counselors for every ten to twelve campers in the bunkhouses.Ī. All camp balances must be paid in full by May 29th, 2023. Camp cost for grades 1st - 2nd (per camper) is $100.00. Camp cost for grades 3rd - 5th (per camper) is $250.00.
